Must be able to work extended hours (6-7 days a week during harvest).Company description SCRIBE Winery is a 250-acre farm in Sonoma Valley, California. Must be comfortable in a variety of work environments including wineries, vineyards, offices, outdoor and off-site locations. 8:00 am – 5pm., with the added flexibility of having to work extended hours and 6-7 days a week during harvest. Regular schedule is Monday through Friday. This is a seasonal full-time, non-exempt position averaging approximately 50-70 hours per week.Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.It includes sitting at a desk or working on a computer/keyboard, standing on or climbing ladders, lots of walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The position requires working in cellar setting inside and outside. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Monday through Saturday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.Position will go through the end of September with the potential to work additional weeks pending production needs.Position will start on July 31st with the potential for some work in July pending production needs.Knows how to have fun and be a positive member of a great winemaking team.Ability to work hard and keep long hours.Because our business is located in an area without access to reliable public transportation, we only recommend that applicants with access to a vehicle apply.Valid driver's license required to fulfill job duties.Flexibility in taking on other tasks and responsibilities as needed, such as assisting with bottling or vineyard sampling.Willingness and flexibility to work overtime during harvest and as needed.An excitement to learn and be a part of a team making high quality wines is required.
